Engineering Internship Available

SPRING SEMESTER INTERN - The Borough of State College is immediately seeking an individual to assist the Public Works Department, Engineering Division as an intern for spring semester. The position is approximately 10 work hours per week through May 4, 2007. Pay is $11.00 per hour. The position will assist the Borough Engineer and Assistant Engineer collect data along with other various engineering tasks.

SUMMER INTERN - The Borough of State College is also seeking a summer intern to assist the Public Works Department, Engineering Division. This position is 40 work hours per week and is effective from early May through late August. Work will consist of gathering data, surveying, construction stake-out, completing construction calculations, performing independent studies, assisting with construction inspections, and performing minor drafting. Position may be extended on a part-time basis for Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 semesters. Pay is $11.00 per hour.
