The objectives of the program are designed so that the graduate will have:

work in industries or state and federal government agencies such as departments of transportation and departments of environmental protection that design, implement, and maintain national and/or global infrastructure. 1. An ability to apply knowledge in mathematics, science, and engineering.
5. An ability to use the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary to engineering practice.
7. An ability to conduct laboratory experiments and to critically analyze and interpret data in more than one of the recognized major civil engineering areas.

12. The broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global and societal context.
