Former Hankin Chairs

Former Hankin Chairs - Where are they now?


Andrew Scanlon (Hankin Chair, 2010 - 2012). Andy continues to teach structures courses in the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department at Penn State.

Bo Kasal (Hankin Chair, 2005 - 2010). Following his five year tenure as Hankin Chair, Bo accepted the position of Director of the Fraunhofer Wilhelm-Klauditz Institute in Braunshweig, Germany.

Eric Burnett (Hankin Chair, 1996 - 2005). After retiring from Penn State, Eric moved to Vancouver, British Columbia.

Jack Willenbrock (Hankin Chair, 1988 - 1995). Jack continues to reside in the State College area and is President of JHW:C/M Consultants. He remains a valuable resource to the housing program and participates in a number of activities including coaching the NAHB Student Chapter Competition Team.
