Noura Chehab Visiting Researcher (August-December 2012) Noura Chehab was a visiting PhD student with the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. Noura's research focus was on the research of microbial desalination cells.
Hari Anandarao Visiting Researcher (Summer 2012) Hari was a visiting PhD student from the King Adbullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia Hari's research focus was on microbial ecology of microbial electrolysis cell (MEC)
Justine Mink Visiting Researcher (Summer 2012) Justine was a visting PhD student from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. Justine's research focus was on the use of nanomaterials in micro-sized microbial fuel cells and the start-up and survial of microbial fuel cells.
Craig Werner Visiting Researcher (Summer 2012) Craig was a visiting a Ph.D. student at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia. Craig's research focuses on micropollutant removal in MFC systems.

Edgar Ribot Visiting Researcher (August-December 2011) Edgar was a checmical engineer and a current PhD student visiting from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB, Department of Chemical Engineering) in Barcelona, Spain. Edgar's research focus was on microbial electrolysis cells.
Dan Sun Visiting Researcher (2010-2011) Dan was a PhD student visiting from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). Dan's research focus was on microbial electrolysis.
Alberto Tenca Visiting Researcher (January-August 2011) Alberto is a PhD candidate from the University of Milan (Department of Agricultural Engineering) in Italy. His research focuses on microbial electrolysis cell.
Qiao Yang Visiting Researcher (July 2010-February 2011) Qiao is a PhD candidate of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in China. Her research focus is on microbial fuel cells.
Dr. Guangli Liu Visiting Researcher (2009-2010) Guangli was a visiting faculty member from Sun Yat Sen University in China. His research included inoculation procedures for microbial fuel cells and acid mine drainage treatment systems.
Jhonathan Rojas Visiting Researcher (2010) Jhonathan was a visiting MS student from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia.  His research included the design and fabrication of a micro-sized microbial fuel cell by using micro-fabrication techniques and nanotechnology.
Cathy Mackey (Summer 2009) South Side High School '10 Rockville Centre, NY Cathy is a high school student pursuing her interests in environmental engineering and developing a research project at Penn State University during the summer of 2009. She hopes to take what she has learned back to her high school to teach her classmates and instructors about this interesting field.

Xi Wang Visiting Researcher (Feb - Jun 2009) Xi was a PhD student visiting from The University of Hong Kong (advisor Dr. Xiaoyan Li). She is now working on microbial fuel cells.
Ping Qingyun (summer 2009) Ping was a visiting undergraduate student from East China Normal University. She is worked with Maha Mehanna on microbial desalination cells (MDCs).
Dr. Young-Ho Ahn Visiting Researcher (2007 - 2008) Dr. Ahn from Yuengnam University in Korea is working on the application of microbial fuel cells for wastewater treatment.
Dr. Liping Huang Visiting Researcher (2007 - 2008) Dr. Huang is visiting from Dalian University of Technology in China starting in May of 2007, and will work on microbial fuel cells.
Dr. Yujie Feng Visiting Researcher (2006 - 2007) Dr. Feng was a visitor from Harbin Institute of Technology in China, and is worked on energy reclamation using microbial fuel cells.
Dr. KyeongHo Lim Visiting Researcher (August 2006-2007) Dr. Lim, an Associate Professor at Kongju University in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, visited Penn State to work in the areas of wastewater treatment and microbial fuel cells.
Eric Zeikel Undergraduate Student (2007) Eric was a CEKA undergraduate student from Humbolt University in California. He worked on examining the effects of different chemicals on power generation in MFCs.
Joo-Youn Nam Visiting Researcher (February-May 2007) Joo-Youn is a visiting graduate student from KAIST in Korea whose advisor there is Prof. Shin. She is working at Penn State with Dr. Lim from Kongju University and the Logan group on MFCs.
Jeff Carey Undergraduate Student (2006) Jeff was a CEKA undergraduate student visiting Penn State from the University of Michigan in the Summer of 2006. He worked on microbial fuel cells.
Neinke Stein Visiting Researcher (2005-2006) Neinke was a graduate student at Waginingen University in the Netherlands that came here to work on MFCs for 4 months in the fall of 2005 and spring of 2006.
Wooshin Park Visitor (2004) PhD Student, Bio-Environmental Engineering Laboratory, GIST, Korea Wooshin worked on biological hydrogen production here from June to November of 2004.
Paul Schrader Ph.D. student, Yale University (Visitor 2002-2003) Paul worked on biological hydrogen production with Jianlin Xu (post doc), and Professors Jay Regan (Civil & Environmental Engineering) and Mark Guiltinan (Horticulture).
Jian-jun Zhang Visiting Ph.D. student in 2003 Jian-jun was a visiting researchers from the University of Hong Kong. He worked on the characteristics and morphology of flocs generated in biohydrogen reactors.
