Three Letters of Recommendation

Recommendation letters should be addressed to the Graduate Admissions Committee. All letters of recommendation must be sent directly from the author via posted mail to the address below in a sealed envelope with a signature across the seal. The format of the reference is open -- there are no recommendation paper or on-line forms. References should address the applicant's demonstrated academic ability, commitment, and potential; leadership qualities; motivation; and communication skills. For applicants pursuing the master of science or doctor of philosophy degree, references should address ability to conduct independent research, self direction, and depth of academic curiosity.
