KAPPE ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING PROFESSORSHIP

The Stan and Flora Kappe Research Professorship in Environmental Engineering was created to recognize a member of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering faculty whose teaching, research, and public service have been outstanding, who has contributed significantly to the education of both undergraduate and graduate students, and to provide the support which will enable him/her to make an even greater contribution to teaching, research, and public service.

The faculty member appointed to this professorship shall have the responsibility of coordinating efforts by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in implementing the academic and research programs in Environmental Engineering at the University.
