KAPPE ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING LABORATORIES

ROOM 18
Environmental Engineering Research Laboratory

This lab is supervised by Dr. Cannon, whose students conduct experiments pertaining to activated carbon and foundry emissions. Several ongoing projects deal with improving the use and reuse of activated carbon for water treatment.  Work is also underway to develop new techniques for reducing air pollutant emissions from foundries. This lab contains the following instruments:

Computer-Aided Titrimeter
Thermogravimetric Analyzer System
Spex Mixer/Mill
Gas Chromatograph
Ozone Concentration % Meter
3 Zone Furnace with Controllers
