College of Engineering E-News
An email newsletter is sent to all students enrolled in College of Engineering degree programs at all Penn State locations on a weekly basis during fall and spring semesters. Undergraduate students receive the Undergraduate E-News; graduate students receive the Graduate E-News.
The purpose of the newsletter is to inform students of academic programs, changes in academic policies and procedures, professional and career-related programs, and opportunities and activities of general interest that are related to the College’s student organizations, departments, and programs. Students will be held responsible all the information that is disseminated via the weekly email newsletter. The list of students who receive the newsletter is updated weekly.
Students, faculty, and staff in the College of Engineering should direct any questions about E-News to email@example.com.

Submit Items for E-News
To submit items for the Undergraduate or Graduate E-News, log on to the E-News Submission System using your Penn State Access ID. If you do not have a Penn State Access ID, contact the appropriate College of Engineering Office to submit your news.
Instructions for First-Time Users
Submissions should be of general interest to undergraduate or graduate students of the College of Engineering. If not, please utilize individual department networks of communication. The College of Engineering reserves the right to make the final determination of the contents of each item in the newsletter and to determine whether the item is suitable for inclusion in the newsletter.
- Submission cannot exceed 175 words.
- With each submission a contact name, phone, address, email, and/or website URL should be provided (if available or relevant).
- Newsletter is sent out Thursday of every week of the fall and spring semesters.
- Deadline for submitting materials to be included in the next newsletter is THURSDAY AT NOON. Any submissions after the deadline will be considered for inclusion in the following week's newsletter. In order to allow sufficient time to prepare the newsletter, no exceptions will be made.
Subscribe to E-News
The Undergraduate E-News is automatically sent to all students enrolled in College of Engineering baccalaureate degree programs. Faculty, staff, and eligible students who are not receiving the Undergraduate E-News may subscribe by emailing their full name, email address, campus location, and semester standing (if applicable) to firstname.lastname@example.org. The term “subscribe” will automatically be included in the subject line of the email.
The Graduate E-News is automatically sent to all students enrolled in College of Engineering graduate degree programs. Faculty, staff, and eligible students who are not receiving the Graduate E-News may subscribe through the E-News Submission System.
Unsubscribe from E-News
Students enrolled in College of Engineering baccalaureate degree programs may NOT opt out of the Undergraduate E-News. Faculty, staff, and students who are not enrolled in a College of Engineering undergraduate degree program may unscribe by sending name, email address, campus location, and semester standing (if applicable) to email@example.com. The term “unsubscribe” will automatically be included in the subject line of the email.
Students enrolled in College of Engineering graduate degree programs may NOT opt out of the Graduate E-News. Faculty and staff may unsubscribe using the E-News Submission System.
