Dr. David Riley and Prof. Andy Lau, Executive Director and Associate Director of Penn State's Center for Sustainability will be presenting ways in which we, as engineers, can reduce our ecological footprint. There is growing pressure for engineers to consider the ecological impact of their projects and to design for the future by taking a broad view of how the project will affect the environment. This lecture will provide an introduction to sustainability in engineering from two leaders in the field.
