Mid-Semester Evaluation

Why wait until the end of the semester to find out what your students think about your course? A mid-semester evaluation is a great way to get feedback that will let you make appropriate changes to the way your course is being presented in time to still have a positive impact.

EIS offers a paper-based approach using the "Engineering Feedback on Teaching Evaluation" (EFTE). A copy of the form can be viewed here. To use this form, contact Jennifer Caldana at 865-4020 or jcaldana@engr.psu.edu. This form has also been created in ANGEL. To have this form placed in your ANGEL course please contact Roxanne Toto at 865-4017 or rtoto@psu.edu.

An online instrument is available through the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence. The "Student Evaluation of Educational Quality" (SEEQ) can be accessed at
http://www.schreyerinstitute.psu.edu/Tools/MidsemesterFeedback.

Let us know if you have any questions on using these or other tools to get feedback from your students.
