What is EON?
EON (Engineering Orientation Network) is a student run organization through the Penn State College of Engineering. With the initial starting funds from the Donald and Mary Stout Program Fund and the continuing support of our corporate sponsors, EON runs a one day orientation at the beginning of the fall semester for freshman engineering students as well as networking events to help students get involved and stay involved with the College of Engineering throughout the year. All freshman students are placed into groups with an upperclassman mentor with whom they will spend the one day orientation.
The Orientation
This years orientation is on August 25th, the day before classes start for the fall 2013 semester. First-year students will be placed into mentoring groups with other first year engineering students lead by an
upper class man engineering student. The orientation consists of two different information sessions and The Lion Games. Hit the orientation link below for more information!

102 Forum - 7:45am - 8:15am - Mentor Meeting
102 Forum - 8:30am - 9:10am - Freshman Check-In
Eisenhower Auditorium - 9:20am - 10:15am - Opening Session/Dean Pytel's Speech
Eisenhower Auditorium - 10:30am - 1:30pm - Lion Games (includes lunch)
Throughout campus - 1:45pm - 2:15pm - Computer session
