Mission Statement

Help students transition into engineering college life to become more comfortable
with new surroundings and succeed academically, socially, and personally.

Objectives

1. Develop sense of responsibility to self, peers, college of engineering and university at large.
2. Challenge new students to make the most of their college experience by getting involved.
3. Connect new students with resources, upperclassmen, faculty, and other role models
through year round efforts to ensure new student involvement.

President Amanda Siergiej	Year: Senior Major: Industrial Engineering Home Town: Harrison City, PA Favorite Thing About Penn State: Everything! Favorite Flavor of Creamery Ice Cream: Death By Chocolate Interest Going to Penn State sporting events, listening to and playing music, making arts and crafts, and doing Sudoku. Involvement: Professional Development Director for the Society of Women Engineers, Resource Innovations Lead for the Women in Engineering Program Orientation, Council Chair for the Institute of Industrial Engineers, Fall Athletic Band & Pride of the Lions Pep Band (piccolo).
Vice President Emily Wolf	Year: Junior Major: Aerospace Engineering Home Town: Potomac, MD Favorite Thing About Penn State: PENN STATE FOOTBALL!! Favorite Flavor of Creamery Ice Cream: Cookies and Cream Interest: Reading, Penn State sports (both watching and playing IM sports), listening to music, hanging out with friends, learning guitar, and helping out incoming students. Involvement: American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Women in Engineering Program, Society of Women Engineers, Engineering House (Mentor, THON committee, and Academic committee), Girl Scout Saturday, Intramural Sports.
Treasurer and Corporate Liaison Jill Holloway	Year: Junior Major: Civil and Environmental Engineering Home Town: Paoli, PA Favorite Thing About Penn State: Homecoming Favorite Flavor of Creamery Ice Cream: Peanut Butter Swirl Interest: Snowboarding, swimming, reading, being outside when it's warm Involvement: Treasurer for Society of Women Engineers, International Envoy, Mentor for Women in Engineering Program Orientation.
Director of Hospitality/Apparel Alex Devaux	Year: Fifth Year Major: Biological Engineering Home Town: Litiz, PA Favorite Thing About Penn State: The trees. Favorite Flavor of Creamery Ice Cream: Bittersweet Mint Interest: Karate, climbing things (especially trees), sustainability, soccer, helping people, learning things, spending very little money and reaping great rewards Involvement: Shotokan Karate, Engineers for a Sustainable World, Outing Club, interesting sounding things here or there.
