International Engineering Envoy Program

International Engineering Envoys are engineering students who have had an international experience and who wish to motivate other students to become more aware of the world. The envoys are engineering students who have completed at least one international experience, either study abroad or work abroad, and who want to help promote Global Engineering Education Programs. The envoys participate in several types of activities:

  • Office Hours in 204 Hammond Building
During fall and spring semesters, international engineering envoys hold office hours daily in 204 Hammond Building, and are available as a resource to students who are curious about international opportunities in the College of Engineering.
  • Presentations
Envoys are available to give presentations in first-year seminars and other classes, as well as during information sessions or to student group meetings.
  • Events
During special events, such as the International Engineering Fair, the envoys are called upon to help promote the international opportunities for engineering students. The envoys also help to plan events for the International Buddy Program.
  • Consultation
The envoys provide valuable feedback about programs and new initiatives to be undertaken by Global Engineering Education Programs.

If you are interested in becoming part of the envoy program, apply online or contact the program coordinator for more information.

You can learn more about the current envoys by checking out the envoy bios. If you have questions for the envoys, you can e-mail them at international@engr.psu.edu.
