| Engineering Calendar of Events |
Like all of the Web applications, the Engineering Calendar of Events is an Active Server Pages (ASP) program that allows users to view upcoming events at the College of Engineering. A user must select a calendar, a month, and a year from three different list boxes then click the VIEW button to view the calendar. The user has the choice to either view events for a particular day or for the entire month.
An integral part of the Calendar system is The Conference Room Scheduling application, which is used internally by College Staff to schedule various conference rooms and facilities. This application replaced a paper schedule which users had to either call and have somebody look up available times or walk to the Dean's Office to check the calendar themselves. Now users can just go to the web and check the calendar from anywhere in the world.
The Calendar system is currently going through a complete overhaul, with easier to use interface, public/private calendars, and more. |
