The Leonhard Center

The Leonhard Center for Enhancement of Engineering Education was established in 1990 by an endowment from William and Wyllis Leonhard. The Leonhard Center strives to catalyze and support the enhancements to teaching, learning, and assessment processes required to sustain world-class engineering education at Penn State. To achieve this goal, the Leonhard Center builds strategic partnerships, initiates programs, and supports faculty-driven endeavors designed to foster significant — sometimes transformational — enhancements to undergraduate and graduate education.
