Nancy Mohn

“The challenge facing engineers today, and the coming generation of engineers, is to include evaluation and mitigation of environmental impacts in every facet of our design equations. I am confident that, through innovation in design, manufacturing, and operation of major energy production processes, we will create the clean, cost efficient energy needed for our continued economic growth. The message I believe critical to all engineering students regardless of the industry they enter, is: ‘Engineers, in partnership with other science professionals, must play a critical role in resolving conflict between technology deployment and the environment."
