Undergraduate Teaching Intern Program for 2013 - 2014
Who:
Undergraduates in the College of Engineering who will have completed their junior year at the end of Spring Semester 2013 with a minimum GPA of 3.30.
What:
--Assist faculty in teaching a course
--Hold office hours and/or review sessions
--Give 1 or 2 lectures or parts of lectures
--Enroll in ENGR 497I Teaching Intern Seminar
Why:
--Improve communication skills through experience
--Develop interest and experience in teaching
--Develop better understanding of basic concepts of engineering
--Receive stipend of $1,500/semester
When:
--Deadline for students to submit an application to their department is April 5, 2013
--Deadline for coordinators to submit their department's selection is April 15, 2013
