When is VIEW?
VIEW will take place from Thursday, November 3, to Sunday, November 6, 2011.
Who is eligible for VIEW?
Any high school tenth- eleventh- or twelfth-grade student who is interested in engineering is eligible to apply to participate in VIEW. Eleventh- and twelfth-graders should be enrolled to take trigonometry, precalculus, or calculus in their senior year..
Why should I attend VIEW?
The transition from high school to college is a challenging one.
VIEW gives you the opportunity to see different aspects of college life, both academic and social, and therefore better prepare for what lies ahead. VIEW will help open your eyes to the opportunities that earning a college degree (especially one in engineering) will give you. Don't miss out on the chance to preview your future career. How much does VIEW cost?
The major costs—hotel room, meals, materials, and instructors—are funded by corporate sponsors and Penn State's Multicultural Engineering Program. A $125 participant fee is due upon acceptance, but is only a fraction of the program's actual value.
