MEP Classes

There are specific classes that can help MEP students to excell and adapt in college. Below are some classes you may consider taking:

ENGR 097S - Success 101

  1. To help students make the multicultural transition from high school, to college life, to the University, and to the work world by introducing successful strategies for learning. The class will help you learn the social and problem solving skills necessary to be a successful college student. Particular emphasis will be given to developing effective study skills, time management, building a community of support, and developing successful strategies to manage issues related to race and gender.

ENGR 297B - WEP Orientation (WEPO)

Women in Engineering Program Orientation (0.5) An orientation program for first-year women students to provide them with skills and resources necessary for success in engineering. Contact 863-1080.

ENGR 297C - MEP Orientation ((MEPO)

Multicultural Engineering Program Orientation (0.5) An orientation program for first-year Multicultural Engineering students to provide them with skills and resources necessary for success in engineering. Contact 863-1080.
