IRC's Mechanical Requirements for Code Officials

This program explains and discusses the duties and responsibilities of a Residential Mechanical Inspector.

 

The program focuses on common code violations and areas that new code officials typically find difficult to understand and enforce. The program provides a general understanding of the various code requirements, as well as the application of materials and construction techniques to meet them. The program will help individuals prepare for the Mechanical Plumbing Inspector certification examinations.  Program participants must have a copy of the 2003 IRC building code.

                 Duration:  2 days

  Maximum class size:  40 people

                      Times:  8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  (day 1)

                                  8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  (day 2)                         

    Intended audience:  Code Officials

           Member cost:  $3,400 + $30 per person

   Non-member cost:  $4,400 + $30 per person
