Moisture Control

Program Code:  MC1

The Moisture Control program presents a systematic and comprehensive overview of the control of moisture and the avoidance of moisture-related problems in building enclosures.

This program concentrates on avoiding moisture-related problems as opposed to dealing with the consequences.

By understanding the building science fundamentals— the interdependence of heat, air and moisture control; the sources of moisture; and the means for moisture movement— moisture problems can be avoided.  Furthermore, one needs to be able to recognize a bad design and to be able to diagnose an existing situation.
