The Pennsylvania Housing Research Center serves the home building industry and the residents of Pennsylvania by improving the quality and affordability of housing. The PHRC conducts applied research, fosters the development and commercialization of innovative technologies, and transfers appropriate technologies to the housing community.

PHRC Funding

Financial support for the PHRC is provided by:

Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development
Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry
The Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA)
The Hankin Endowment (visit the Hankin Group founders of the Hankin Endowment)
The Pennsylvania College of Technology
Research contracts – some of which are proprietary
Individual memberships

Membership

A vital portion of the financial support for the PHRC is obtained from membership fees.  If you would like to become a member of the PHRC, please review the benefits of each level of membership and/or fill out the membership application form.

Financial and other forms of support for the PHRC are very important. Industry-based funding, individual or corporate or association, is critical for our continued operation.
