Habitable Attics

The 2009 IRC will bring in new requirements for “habitable attics.”  This new term will allow IRC compliant buildings to be built with 5 floors (counting the basement) with a habitable attic or loft.  The application of habitable attics is less clear when applied to bonus rooms.  This webinar will explore this new requirement and discuss code compliance and enforcement challenges.

Presenter: Mark Fortney and Bob Buddenbohn

Intended Audience: Builder, remodelers, design professionals, residential building code inspectors, etc.
