Act 46 - The Permit & Approval Extension Act What is its Impact on You? Presenters Katie Blansett (PHRC) Bob Buddenbohn (PHRC) Program Description: Effective July 6 2010, Act 46 extended virtually every permit and approval pertaining to zoning, land planning, land development, building, construction and related activities until July 2, 2013. Permits and approvals which expired between January 1, 2009 and July 6, 2010 have also been resurrected and automatically extended to July 2, 2013. This program will explain the scope of what is regulated by this Act, as well as the duties and responsibilities of government agencies and other entities issuing permits and approvals. Attend this program to learn more about the act and get your questions answered by the presenters.Target audience: Anyone involved in applying for, reviewing, or approving land use, land development, or UCC-regulated permits. This includes, but is not limited to, municipal managers and administrators, elected officials, building code officials, municipal engineers, municipal solicitors, planning department administrators, land developers, and builders.
