Verification Required! New Duct Leakage Testing Requirements in the 2009 IRC

The 2009 IRC is scheduled to go into effect in Pennsylvania on January 1, 2010, and with it will come the first ever requirement for residential duct testing. Unless typical house designs or HVAC installation practices change, a significant number of new homes will not meet code. Designers, builders, HVAC contractors, and code officials will all need to understand this new requirement. Will you be ready?
