Zero-Energy Homes in PA: What Does It Take?

Zero Energy Homes are very energy efficient in all aspects of their design including siting, thermal envelope, passive solar, appliances, and HVAC.  Their small energy use is then met with renewable technologies like solar water heating, solar electricity, and/or wind turbines.  This webinar reviews the principles of energy efficient design and the selection of renewable technologies to achieve ZEH’s in Pennsylvania.  One or more case studies of recent projects will be presented.
