The PHRC’s 9th annual PA Housing Conference was an overwhelming success. The program The New Statewide Building Code: Who ~ What ~ When was initially scheduled at two locations (Monroeville, February 21 and Harrisburg, March 7); however, interest in the program quickly outstripped the space available and a third session was offered (New Cumberland, March 15).
The program focused on the changes in regulations and some of the technical issues that may be encountered in complying with Pennsylvania’s new Uniform Construction Code. Over 550 builders, developers, code officials, and government representatives were present at the three sessions.
