New and Still Expanding

In 1894, the Penn State Annual report included this photgraph of the new greenhouses attached to the Botany Building taken as a woman strolls in the gardens and her ride waits at the curb. Notice also the little high-peaked building behind Old Botany, which was the heating plant for the greenhouses.
