Biomedical Engineering

Our biomedical engineering graduate program is part of the Penn State Intercollege Graduate Degree Program in bioengineering. Courses are taught by expert faculty in the Eberly College of Science; the Colleges of Earth and Mineral Sciences, Engineering, Information Sciences and Technology, and Medicine; and Penn State’s Applied Research Laboratory.

We offer a flexible and mentored curriculum for a number of cutting-edge applications employing hands-on research approaches. Students enjoy ultra-modern research facilities and an exclusive partnership with the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, which fosters a unique environment for collaboration among engineers, clinicians, and the biomedical industry.
