Career Fair (Spring)- This committee will organize and run the engineering career fair that is held in February.  This career fair was started six years ago and has mainly been run by SWE.  There are many tasks involved in arranging a project this large so we need LOTS AND LOTS of help!  The career fair is a great opportunity to make corporate contacts and develop networking skills.

Expand Your Horizons (EYH) Conference - The Women in the Sciences and Engineering (WISE) Institute will host the nineteenth annual Expand Your Horizons (EYH) Conference for 6th-9th grade students (ages 11-15) from the Centre Region at University Park. Expand Your Horizons is a program that was developed by the Math/Science Network in California in 1976. The goals of EYH are to increase young women’s interest in mathematics, science, and engineering through positive hands-on experiences; foster awareness of career opportunities in scientific and technical fields; and provide young women with positive role models who are active in scientific and technical careers. SWE will be having a workshop at the conference and we will be needing volunteers!
