Committee Chair Application - Due Sunday, September 28, 2008
Banquet (Spring) - This committee will plan the annual Spring Banquet to acknowledge the achievements of the organization over the past year, recognize those who have participated, present scholarships and awards, and introduce incoming officers. Committee members will take part in planning the banquet, deciding upon themes, decorations, etc.
General Social - The social committee organizes all of the fun activities offered to SWE members. Activities in the past have included hayrides, study breaks, snow tubing, broomball, holiday socials, and tailgates. If you enjoy planning and organizing events, this committee is for you.
September 13th - "Stop Light " Social with our Homecoming partners, Sig Nu
October 25th - Hayride with our Homecoming partners, Sig Nu
Semiformal (Spring) - This committee will plan the College of Engineering Semiformal. Members will help decide on themes, decorations, sell tickets, set up and tear down the day of the event.
Fall Sports and Spring Sports - This committee will be setting up a SWE team for various IM sports, such as soccer , volleyball, and flag football. You don’t have to be a committee member to play though! IM Sports Website
