General Event Publicity - This committee (SWE Street Team) will handle advertising for our general SWE meetings, corporate meetings, and social activities. Members will creatively hang flyers and chalk board classrooms. This committee is highly regarded amongst the SWE community.
Mr. Engineer - This committee will be in charge of planning, organizing, and running the Mr. Engineer Competition held in February. Meetings will begin in November and continue until the event. Mr. Engineer is a beauty pageant in which male engineers compete for the honor of winning the title while raising money for THON.

Awards Committee - This committee will work towards filling out and gathering information and apply for National and Regional Awards. Awards include: Membership, Communication, and Outreach. Awards are very important in publicizing Penn State SWE.
Web Page Are you interested in updating the web page with all of the current events and news for SWE? Join the Web Page committee! (No previous experience required)
Legacy Historian - Volunteers are always welcome to take pictures at all our events. Since we have so many exciting activities we want to take pictures to remember them and keep the scrapbook on our website updated. Committee members will also help create the end-of-the-year slide show that is shown at the banquet.

Street Team Chair(s): Are you passionate about your stapler? You can work with Street Team captains to design and print flyers, take pictures, ensure street team is following all area rules, as well as survey classrooms and bulletin boards to make maps and designate areas for more efficient Street Team practices (civil or architectural engineering students encouraged to apply)
Mr. Engineer Competition Chair(s): What's better than watching boys compete in a "beauty" pageant while raising money for THON? If this sounds like an awesome time then you can help plan the Mr. Engineer competition, including reserving space, finding judges, recruiting participants, and other logistics of pageant
Photography Chair: Do you always carry your camera? Then you can take pictures of various SWE events for records and post them on Facebook (if you so choose) so everyone can enjoy and tag themselves :)
Legacy/Logistics Chair: Enjoy scrapbooking?!? Then you can have fun and help organize SWE by working closely with officers and directors to collect up-to-date logistic forms and pictures for all events. Anyone interested in an officer position is highly encouraged to apply!
Awards Chair: Are you resourceful and creative?!? If you answered yes, then you can look for and help apply for awards! (including Penn State, Region G, and National SWE awards) This position is integral to publicizing Penn State SWE's great name across the campus, region, and nation.
