Welcome to the Penn State Society of Women Engineers homepage!
Here at Penn State we have strived to aspire, advance, and achieve since being founded in 1975. Our organization, consisting of over 200 members, holds a variety of events throughout the year. This year we are honored to be able to host the Region G Conference as well as introduce a few more outreach and recruitment programs.
Our section also works with the College of Engineering to sponsor some events such as: networking receptions, the Spring Career Fair, Semi-Formal, and the Mr. Engineer Competition (to benefit THON). Some of our outreach and recruitment programs include working with young girls during “Spend an Engineering Day” and hosting High School seniors during the Spring Stayover. We are also very involved with Penn State’s IM Sports, Homecoming, and THON.
