Parking: If you are arriving after 5pm on Friday you may park for free in any of the on-campus parking garages (see map). The closest garage to the Nittany Lion Inn is the Nittany Parking Garage for which you have complementary parking even before 5pm Friday if you are staying at the Inn.

Directions to the Nittany Lion Inn

From the West:
Take I-80 E in PA to Exit 161 (Bellefonte). Follow PA 26 S to US 220 S, and take Exit 74 for Innovation Park/Penn State University. For the Nittany Lion Inn: Stay in the left lane of the exit and follow the sign for Penn State University. This will become Park Avenue. Travel Park Avenue to the stop light at Allen Street. Turn left on Allen Street and then right on Fischer Road. The Nittany Lion Parking Deck will be on your left followed by the Nittany Lion Inn

From Pittsburgh:
Take Route 22 E to Duncansville. Merge onto Route 220/I-99 N toward Altoona and go north for 24 miles. Turn right onto US 220 toward State College for 11 miles; merge onto Route 322 E to State College. For the Nittany Lion Inn: Exit onto Business Route 322/N. Atherton Street, past a variety of businesses. At the light at Park Avenue, turn left. The Inn is on your right.

From the East:

Atherton Hotel and Days Inn:

From Route 322 E to State College. Exit onto Business Route 322/N. Atherton Street, past a variety of businesses. Follow Atherton Street south past College Ave. Turn left into Atherton Hotel parking garage. For Days Inn: Continue on Atherton street. Turn left on Beaver Ave. Turn right on Allen St. Days Inn is on the right.

From US 220 S, take Exit 74 for Innovation Park/Penn State University. Stay in the left lane of the exit and follow the sign for Penn State University. This will become Park Avenue. Turn Left on Atherton Street. Follow Atherton Street south past College Ave. Turn left into Atherton Hotel parking garage. For Days Inn: Continue on Atherton street. Turn left on Beaver Ave. Turn right on Allen St. Days Inn is on the right.
