MTM Counselor

MTM (Make the Machine) Engineering Camp for Girls is a day camp for girls entering grades 9-12. It offers five different interdisciplinary engineering modules and hands-on opportunities. Your MTM experiences will allow you to explore the wide variety of engineering career possibilities available and experience what your life might be like on a college campus.
MTM Counselor Responsibilities include:
• Participate in a 2-hour training session
• Facilitate all MTM Engineering Camp activities
• Serve as a role model for high school girls considering engineering
Rewards include:
• Receive a pre-determined amount per day of MTM Camp
• Receive a free camp t-shirt
• Daily lunch and breakfast
Who is eligable:
• Undergraduate or graduate woman in College of Engineering in good academic standing
• A positive attitude and genuine interest in encouraging girls to pursue engineering careers!
• MTM Counselors may be enrolled in PSU summer classes!
Application Process:
• A one page resume
• One recommendation on the attached form (if you submitted one for WEPO ‘10 you do not need to submit a new one!) (Submit it in a sealed envelope with the reference’s signature across the seal.)
• Your summer class schedule (if enrolled in summer classes)
