Nick

Nick is presently a 5th year Architectural Engineering student at Penn State University. He enrolled as an engineering student in 2003 and has been pursuing an Integrated Masters/Bachelors of Architectural Engineer. He will be graduating in December, 2008 and will be seeking permanent employment thereafter.

Nick was born in Boston Massachusetts and grew up in Marshfield, a south shore suburb of the city. He attended Marshfield High where he was an active varsity sports player and honor student. Apart from school, he spent a great amount of time on the job with his father, a local contractor in Boston. Every free Saturday during the school year and 40 hours a week each summer he worked in the construction business. This experience helped him to gain knowledge that would prove extremely valuable in the future. Nick's construction background led him towards an academic career in engineering and the AE program proved to be an extraordinary fit. The skills acquired both in the field growing up and in the classroom today have provided him with an exceptional knowledge of this industry.

Outside of his course work, Nick enjoys to socialize with his fraternity brothers, play sports and cook. He is an independent individual who has been fortunate enough to travel extensively and enjoy many exciting experiences. Ultimately, he hopes that his well rounded background, hard work ethic, and academic ambition will prove fruitful in whatever future endeavors he encounters.
