Reflection

After completing the AE Senior Thesis Project, I believe that while it is by far the most demanding and time consuming work I have completed, it is very rewarding. Practical knowledge of building systems was accumulated throughout the year while working with my project. Learning about lighting systems and equipment from schematic design to construction document phases has prepared me for my career in lighting design. Presenting in front of lighting design professionals at Lutron in December was a very valuable experience. Getting real critique and criticism is a great exercise in preparation for future industry experiences.

I do feel that the total amount of work required by the lighting and electrical faculty surpasses what should be required for a 4-credit course.
