The New Indian Valley High School was brought about to address the existing over crowding issues at the current high school. The plan called for bigger hallways, modern classrooms and the opportunity for new fitness and theatrical arts areas. Areas of of the building have exposed ceilings to help bring a new modern edge and style to the school.
Primarily the building is made up of structural steel and CMUs, with a face brick facade. There are small glass enslosures around the fitness and cafeteria areas, with windowed ceilings in the library.
