The AE Senior Thesis turned out to be an edifying process. It was nice to get to work on a real building and hear criticisms of that work from the members of faculty. I do wish there had been more opportunities for the BIM Thesis program however. With the industry trending toward a more integrated design approach, I feel like having a collaborative project with students of different options would have been incredibly helpful. All in all, this thesis is a neat opportunity to try out new things that may not have been covered much in our ordinary coursework, and I thought that was great.
