Welcome to Kendall's Senior e-Studio Portfolio

The Senior Thesis Project is a compilation of the knowledge, skills, and work acquired throughout my collegiate career in the Archiectural Engineering Department. My Senior Thesis Project is based off of the $28M Phase II of the Fort Pickett Regional Training Institute in Blackstone, VA, which was designed and currently being constructed by Barton Malow. The 120,000 SF billeting buildings will provide a replacement for the current, delapidated barracks buildings that were constructed during the World War II era for soliders. The project is aiming for LEED Silver using an innovative HVAC system that features individual heat pumps to service multiple rooms and a centralized glycol cooling system that runs throughout the Regional Training Institute campus.

Special Thanks to:

The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) is a web based project and information center. It contains material produced for a year long Senior Thesis class. Its purpose, in addition to providing central storage of individual assignments, is to foster communication and collaboration between students, faculty consultants, course instructors, and industry consultants. This website is dedicated to the research and analysis conducted via guidelines provided by the Department of Architectural Engineering.
