Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I grew up in a Penn State family, so it was really my only choice. I've been coming to football games since I was about 5 and have loved it ever since the first time I came! Penn State was the only school I applied to and I love it even more than I thought I would!

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? Getting to be on the leadership team for the Women in Engineering Program Orientation has been one of my best memories. It has been so rewarding getting to see freshman women progress through their freshman year and I love being the one to help guide them through it! Also, I've met some amazing women engineers through the program which I'm so thankful for.

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Get out of your comfort zone! I think it's so important to do things that may scare you since it feels so good to finally conquer your fears. I've grown so much the past few years and I can attribute that to getting involved in things that I would've been too scared to do in high school.

What do you plan to do after graduation? I hope to obtain a full-time position in the oil and gas industry.

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? Getting involved in a THON special interest organization has been one of my best experiences. I got the chance to meet so many different people who share the same passion for THON. It's been so much fun being involved, and it was one of the best decisions I made during my freshman year!
