Why did you choose to come to Penn State? Penn State has an amazing Engineering College with so many resources from Career fairs to the Women in Engineering Program. All of these great resources is something super unique to Penn State not to mention also we have a huge career fair in the Bryce Jordan Center in the Fall where 500 companies come out to see us! I also looked into the school's student organizations and here at Penn State there are so many things to get involved with so that made me comfortable about choosing Penn State.

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? As a Computer Science major a lot of what I do is program on my laptop so freshman year I have to say I have fond memories of getting my code to compile and then run the way I wanted it too after hours of work. In comparison I also have not to fond memories of staying up all night trying to find bugs in my code but I take it as a bonding experience with my fellow Computer Science classmates.

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Don't be afraid of reaching for high goals. Penn State has so many opportunities for us to be successful so use them to the fullest. Also reach out to classmates and make friends. It may seem like a trivial thing but it's easy to get lost in a new place.

What do you plan to do after graduation? I want to move to the great North West particularly Seattle. I'm in love with the West coast and right by Seattle there are so many mountains and outdoor activities. I'll also most likely be working for one of the big tech companies that is are located in that area.

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? Joining my sorority and everything that came with it. I suddenly had a huge support system and so many people to talk to about anything. It also helps that we are all women in engineering majors so we are really going through the same struggles in college.
