In IME, Inc. 1, we designed from an initial concept to its detailed specification. The majority of class time was spent working in teams on the design; however, lectures will be offered during each phase of the development process to present the requisite tools and techniques needed to design a successful, competitive product.

IME, Inc. 2, is a course in which time a full-scale manufacturing process plan will be developed, implemented, tested, and refined using the product specifications developed in IME, Inc. 1. IME, Inc. 1 serves as a pre-requisite for IME, Inc. 2, and students will be encouraged to take both courses. IME, Inc. 2 will be offered as a Design Elective.
