Fixture and tooling

A specially designed fixture was made to accurately position the base to drill the hole for the clock insert.  In addition, the nameplate assembly also uses the fixture to guide the worker in precise application.

Figure 1 shows the custom fixture.  Figure 2 shows how the base is position in the fixture.
