GDG @ Penn State Solution Challenge Hackathon: Innovate for Impact

The event will take place from April 11 at 7:00 p.m. to April 12 at 12:00 noon. From 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., participants will receive instructions and have time to brainstorm. From 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m., they will work on solving the problem, and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, they will present their solutions, followed by judges’ deliberation and awards. During the event, students will work in teams to solve a real-world problem using Google technologies while incorporating one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. Participants will respond to five prompts over the course of 12 hours and then present their solutions.

Participants may register with a team of up to four members and indicate their teammate preferences through the form. Students who do not already have a team may choose to work independently or be matched with others.
