Continuing Student Scholarships

We offer scholarships for current Penn State Engineering students, including those transferring from a Penn State campus to Penn State University Park. These awards recognize academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement, with many tied to specific majors.  

Students should apply each year, as new opportunities become available.  

Application & Eligibility

To apply for continuing student scholarships, you must be an engineering student enrolled at University Park, transferring from another university, or moving from another Penn State campus. Submit a continuing student scholarship application to be considered for awards based on academics and application details.  

Filing out the FAFSA is encouraged—it's not required but can help unlock more scholarship and financial aid opportunities.

Award Notification

We typically award scholarships to admitted students on a rolling basis starting in August. Recipients receive an email with details of their award.  

Individual financial aid and scholarship packages are detailed in individual student Penn State portals. Students should log into their MyPennState Account for updates.
