I was born September 19, 1986 in the town of Glendale, WV. After living in Moundsville, WV for six months, my family moved to Lower Burrell City, PA, located about 20 minutes north-east of the great city of Pittsburgh, PA. I have called the LBC home ever since. I attended St. Margaret Mary School from Kindergarten through 8th grade. My high school life was spent at Burrell High School. There I Joined the Swim team. I was accepted to Penn State Altoona where I joined the D-3 varsity Swim team. I transferred to University Park after my freshmen year once being accepted into the Architectural Engineering Department. Spring 08 I took the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam and passed. The summer of 08 I took an Internship with Powerhouse Design Inc. There, as an electrical designer, I was involved with the design of lighting and electrical circuiting layouts for tenant fit outs, restaurants, and VA Hospitals. I was also involved with research into Pittsburgh's first Lighting Ordinance (which is still in the works). I am currently a student in my 4th year. I have focused my studies on Lighting and Electrical Design with priority on electrical distribution systems design for commercial buildings. This coming summer I will be in the DC area interning with Smithgroup.
