Helen Leenhouts is a fifth year at The Pennsylvania State University. Helen will graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus in Mechanical in May 2014.

Helen interned with Lower Merion School District's operations department during the 2011 and 2012 summers. She worked with two PE's on the renovation of the Administration Building as well as other projects throughout the summer. During summer 2013, Helen interned with Jacobs Engineering in their Fire Protection Environmental Safety and Systems Technology department. While at Jacobs, she worked primarily on dispersion analysis of chemical leaks throughout pharma/bio buildings.

Helen is also involved at Penn State primarily through her engineering sorority, Phi Sigma Rho. She has held many leadership positions, including President, and been able to be involved with all aspects of campus life. During her spare time, Helen enjoys playing and coaching soccer.
