Integrated Project Delivery and Building Information Modeling Senior Thesis Pilot Program

Fall Semester 2009 launched a three-year IPD / BIM Capstone Project program under industry and institutional sponsorship. Each year the program consists of a year-long two course sequence,the courses are organized and managed around IPD/BIM concepts by multidisciplinary teams of AE students.The program is open to 5th year AE students enrolled in either the BAE degree program or the integrated BAE/MAE program. Each team consists of one student from each of the four Penn State AE disciplines:


Construction Management
Lighting/Electrical
Mechanical
Structural
