           Dominic Coassolo

                    Construction Management

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dominic Coassolo is in his 5th year of the Architectural Engineering program at Penn State University.  He will graduate in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree with a focus in Construction Management.  Dominic has gained a basic knowledge in the other areas of Architectural Engineering through his studies as well.  Upon graduation, he plans to pursue a career in Construction Management and eventually return to school to attain a Master's degree.

 

For the past three summers, Dominic has interned for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.  During his time at PennDOT, Dominic assisted with the roadway survey team to inspect Pennsylvania's roadway conditions.  During his second summer, he was involved with their bridge design team where he helped with daily inspections and CAD work.  His thesis project (Office Building - G) was awarded to him through Turner Construction.

 

Outside of school, Dominic is involved in many school organizations.  He is a member of S:PACE (Student Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence), DBIA (Design Build Institute of America), and the Blue & White Society.  Also, Dominic enjoys spending time playing a variety of sports, especially intramural basketball.  When he is not working, he is usually spending time with his family and friends.
